BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn celebrates the achievements of 20 Brooklyn-based contemporary artists who are emblematic of Brooklyn’s growing status as a world-renowned artistic capital.

The Gala will include a cocktail reception featuring live music by a Brooklyn band, followed by dinner and a live auction of art works generously donated by our artist honorees. All Gala attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with artist honorees throughout the event, and table purchasers will be guaranteed premier table seating with an artist honoree.

PERFORMANCES

Holly Miranda

Fresh off performing at Celebrate Brooklyn! this summer as a part of her first headlining tour, Brooklyn-based musician Holly Miranda has opened for Tegan and Sara, the xx, and My Morning Jacket among others. Her album The Magicians Private Library was released in 2010.

Joe Jagos

Brooklyn-based video artist Joe Jagos appropriates found images, stop-motion animation, as well as his own footage. At the event Jagos will be live mixing images set to music.
