Trilogy
This exhibition presents the work of three outstanding artists working in different media, chosen by director Jackie Battenfield from the gallery’s extensive slide files of over 650 Brooklyn-affiliated artists. Each artist combines a classical composition with expressive qualities of the medium: Leslie Alexander’s landscape paintings use a lush and fluid brushstroke, Donna Francis veils the figure in warm-hued photographs while Robin Hill’s sculpture explores sinuous form.
