This video program will include recent work by Brooklyn affiliated Asian-American video artists. The artists represent diverse ethnic backgrounds: Japanese-America Takeo Hori, Chinese-American Nancy Tong, Indian-Americans Rea Tajiri, Indu Krishnan, and Chitra Neogy-Tezak, and Vietnamese-American Tati Nguyen. Their work ranges from the re-interpretation of pop culture to autobiography to social documentary.
Daryl Chin is a critic, artist, independent curator, and co-founder of Asian American International Film Festival.
