This exhibition presents work by three artists, Pamela Lins, Valters Lindbergs, and Laura McCallum, who take objects from the physical world as a starting pointing for their work. Paintings, drawings, and sculpture by these artists speak of the power of objects as symbols - how we collect them, display them and pass them down from generation to generation, often re-evaluating and re-inventing their significance.
This exhibition was selected by Gallery Director, Janet Riker, from the slides of over 700 Brooklyn-affiliated artists listed in the Rotunda Gallery Slide Registry.
