Painter and sculptor Takao Saito will construct a site-specific installation for the Rotunda Gallery’s space at the Brooklyn War Memorial. Using painted corrugated board and marble chips, Saito will construct a white maze-like environment. The Gallery will be transformed into a quiet meditative space through which the visitor may walk and reflect upon the building’s significance as a public memorial.
