Selected by the Rotunda Gallery Artists’ Advisory Committee from entires to its annual call for site-specific proposals, the program provides Brooklyn-affiliated artists with the opportunity to realize large-scale work on site. Up to three artists will be selected to create room-sized environmental work in the Gallery for this exhibition project.
Architect Taeg Nishimoto’s installation utitlized the entire Gallery, spanning the space with a series of bent wooden arcs braced with wire. Like a line in space, the work intersected and articulated the spatial volumes of the existing architecture.
