Throughout the season, exhibitions in The Rotunda Gallery serve as an inspiration for the discussion and hands-on art projects of children from pre-kindergarten through high school. Our Mini-Museum outreach program integrates art instruction with school curricula through a series of gallery visits and classroom lessons, and culminates in the creation of a mini-museum or installation project in the participating school. Each year, the Gallery holds a week-long school break program for children living in temporary housing facilities. The exhibition KIDSART presents children’s art work from all these exhibitions selected by Meridith McNeal, the Gallery’s Director of Education.
