Bud Light Music Series  

Our annual Latin Alternative Music Conference showcase features Mexican techno-funk rockers KINKY, who are known for their "insanely catchy disco-funk rhythms" that make "human beings have trouble sitting still." (LA Times) The five-piece band grew out of the Avanzada Regia musical movement in Monterrey, Mexico in the late 90s and have continued to surprise their fans with their evolving sound that spans languages as well as genres. 

The night begins with the “infectiously cheery, lighthearted and danceable” (NPR) Chilean indie pop of ASTRO, who would be right at home on a bill with MGMT and Passion Pit, and the ska-infused rock of the beloved Buenos Aires band LOS AUTÉNTICOS DECADENTES, originally formed in 1986 and enjoying a recent return to the spotlight.
