As I Lay Dying is a stirring multi-authored adaptation of William Faulkner's masterpiece novel following the Bundren family's journey across stormy state plains to honor their mother's dying wish. With Live Source's signature stylistic and immersive design, this production will bring audiences through Faulkner's dense and emotional odyssey, drenched in a rural, southern gothic world. Live Source Theatre Group's As I Lay Dying is written by Kara Lee Corthron, Libby Emmons, Deborah Zoe Laufer, Rehana Lew Mirza, Cori Thomas and Pia Wilson. Based on the novel by William Faulkner.

Live Source Theatre Group is a New York-based company of multidisciplinary artists with a unique mission to elevate the role of designers in the creation, development, and production of new theatrical works. The group uses both classic and bold original plays to reveal and explore contemporary themes, drawing from a blend of styles, stories, and live sources. With innovative design and technology in constant play with highly stylized performances, Live Source engages audiences through a bold new theatre aesthetic.

AS I LAY DYING is made possible through the New Work Development Fund, with lead support from the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC), and from The Jerome Robbins Foundation and the A.R.T./New York Theatre Leadership Program, supported by The Harold & Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust. Subsidized studio space provided by the A.R.T./New York Creative Space Grant, supported by the Andrew W.
