Family Day - PUPPET TIME: Create and Play

BRIC Rotunda Gallery
April 17, 2010
12:00 PM-3:00 PM
FREE

Invent - Create – Imagine

Participants will create puppets of themselves and imaginary characters!  Our puppet design is inspired by the South Asian tradition of "Wayang Kulit", decorative rod puppets that have magical silhouettes. Inspired by artwork in BRIC’s exhibition, A Wild Gander: Artists from the South Asian Women's Creative Collective.

Led by artist teacher Angela Earley. This free, drop-in event is appropriate for all ages. Family Days run throughout the 2009-10 season at BRIC Rotunda Gallery in conjunction with each exhibition on view.

Family Days funding provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services
