Coney Island TV Studio Resource Page
Did you know that we have a TV studio in Coney Island that you can use? Featuring green screen capabilities, three cameras, a comprehensive graphics package, and TriCaster switcher, this studio gives you the ability to create and tell your own story near the beach in Coney Island.

Coney Island TV Studio Upgrade Class
Are you a certified community producer interested in using our state-of-the-art TV studio at the Brooklyn Public Library's Coney Island branch? Learn the ins and outs of the cameras and equipment available to you at the Coney Island TV studio— including how to set up the audio and video rack, load assets into the playback system, operate the TriCaster switcher, and create titles with the integrated graphics program. Free Online Training with Lynda.com
Did you know that media education offers free use of Lynda.com training videos to Certified Community Producers and students currently enrolled in a media education course? To reserve a Lynda.com license and book time in an edit suite or the media lab, please contact our Public Equipment department at 718.683.5645 or 718.683.5605. You will need a valid email address and a pair of headphones to utilize the training videos.
Skill Building Workshops: Field Production
The Field Production Workshop series consists of small group sessions designed to give producers who are Certified in Field Production additional time with field equipment with staff guidance.
Skill Building Workshops: The Producers' Think Tank
The Producers' Think Tank is a support system intended to aid Brooklyn Free Speech producers in moving their production projects or show ideas forward. Topics covered include production team building, concepting your show, and more.
