A Letter From Our President:

In this moment of profound reckoning for our country, I'm stunned by having witnessed so brazenly the ongoing consequences of whiteness being weaponized against Black bodies. I grieve for the Black lives taken from us: George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and many others. M Train

M Train, premiering in January 2020, is a six-part audio series on BRIC Radio that explores different facets of Muslim life, culture, and diversity in New York City, co-produced and hosted by journalist and podcaster Ahmed Ali Akbar. M Train is co-produced by Shirin Barghi and is a mini-series of the podcast See Something Say Something.


Ahmed Seyed Ali Akbar is a journalist, writer, and host of the podcast See Something Say Something. The show covers everything that American Muslims are talking about and was formerly at BuzzFeed.

Shirin Barghi is a Brooklyn-based multimedia journalist for BRIC TV, where she covers issues of social justice, immigration, politics and more.
