Bilingual-Spanish Speaking Teaching Artist (Visual Arts and Media) - Part-time
BRIC seeks innovative and experienced Teaching Artists with an active creative practice in visual arts and/or media, for school day and afterschool media residencies in New York City public schools and community centers. BRIC works with over 40 schools serving 400 students Pre-K through high school, in the following fields: Printmaking, bookmaking, painting, murals, sculpture, site-specific installation, mosaic, public art, digital photography, textile, mixed media, video production, animation, digital photography and podcasting.
Director of Community Media
BRIC seeks a Director of Community Media to further actualize the BRIC mission, vision and strategic plan through programmatic departments at BRIC including: Brooklyn Free Speech Community Producer Services and Community Producer Services. The Director of Community Media will also play a key role in managing the relationships with the cable companies and exploring revenue opportunities.
Senior Manager, Residencies
BRIC seeks a Senior Manager, Residencies to act as a key member of the Youth Education Team who will establish strong relationships and communication with partner organizations while overseeing and supporting a roster of 30-40 Teaching Artists to deliver visual arts and media residencies to schools, community centers and partner institutions.
Chief Program Officer
Reporting to the President, BRIC seeks a Chief Program Officer who will act as a member of the Executive team and will be responsible for the vision and direction of all creative output, the management and oversight of all programmatic initiatives and teams and licensed and original intellectual property of BRIC.
Lead Art Handler, Production Manager
BRIC seeks a Lead Art Handler, Production Manager to oversee the installation of art exhibitions and events in the BRIC House galleries and public areas. The Lead Art Handler, PM will collaborate with curators, artists, outside galleries and institutions to plan the installation and production of 3-4 exhibitions annually across onsite and offsite BRIC exhibition spaces
Audio Technician (Part-time)
BRIC seeks Audio Technicians (Part-time), who will establish and ensure that BRIC productions meet industry standard audio excellence for in-person events at BRIC House Ballroom, Stoop, and field productions, on an "as needed" basis.
Production Manager
BRIC seeks a Production Manager to execute several overlapping events throughout the year using in-person, hybrid, or virtual formats for the Performing Arts, Contemporary Arts, Community Media, Education, Administration & Development, and Rentals. Reporting to the Director of Production, the Production Manager plays a critical role in serving BRIC’s community-centered mission in a way that is sustainable within the operational resources of BRIC.
Media Instructor, Part-Time
BRIC seeks an experienced and energetic adult educator to teach a variety of in-person and online media classes. BRIC seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the organization. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audit, and compliance.

Operations Coordinator, Community Media Brooklyn Free Speech
BRIC seeks an Operations Coordinator to organize, maintain, and supply BRIC’s community media center physical facilities, and support both Public Equipment and Education as needed.

Production Intern BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! 2023
BRIC seeks Production Interns to provide support to the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival production team throughout a summer of performing arts programming at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park. The team is committed to high-level production values and safety, and Production Interns are expected to contribute to a positive artist, audience, and co-worker experience.
