The World, Reflected In Your Eyes is planned, promoted, designed, and judged entirely by media-savvy high school students as part of the BRIC Youth Curatorial Fellowship Program.
The World, Reflected In Your Eyes is an immersive exhibition about our realities. What are your revolutionary ideas for the future? What problems are we trying to solve? What do you want out of this reality? The room will be split into two sides: one side is a natural, blooming dreamscape. The other side is industrial, steampunk; this is open to interpretation. Together, the two sides represent imagination for multiple futures. The future is open to interpretation, based on the effects of the social challenges of the present. The Youth Curatorial Fellowship invites young up-and-coming artists to share their views on the present and their visions for the future. How do you want our world and your world to look in the future?

ABOUT BRIC YOUTH EDUCATION
For over three decades, BRIC has been a pioneer in providing exceptional art education to public school students throughout Brooklyn. BRIC’s Youth Education program is distinguished by the involvement of professional artists and media makers, who bring their individual professional practices into the classroom via in-school residencies that introduce new ways of learning through a project-based approach. Programs are tailored to the needs of each individual classroom and aligned to local and state educational standards. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Project Room, located adjacent to the Gallery in BRIC House is an added resource for video work, BRIC's emerging curator program, small-scale exhibitions and experimental curatorial projects.
Beginning Nov. 1, 2022, attendees of any BRIC House programming will no longer have to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter the building. Masks are encouraged but not required in all BRIC operated spaces. If you have questions regarding this protocol, please email Safety@bricartsmedia.org
