Dear Brooklyn Free Speech Producing Community,
As you know, we have been closely monitoring the situation surrounding Coronavirus/Covid-19. Over the last few days, we have made modifications to our schedules and have updates to share.
Beginning Monday, March 16 through April 30, our building, BRIC House at 647 Fulton Street, will be closed to the public. This means that our exhibitions, media center, public spaces, and BRIC Cafe will be closed and all of our public programs will be postponed or canceled, including the 7th Annual B Free Awards and media education classes.
We appreciate your support and patience in the upcoming weeks, as the health of our community is of the utmost importance. Part of our mission is to unite Brooklyn through art and creativity, so this was an extremely hard decision for us to make and we will strive for a future date to reschedule the B Free Awards and classes.

BROOKLYN FREE SPEECH MEDIA CENTER HOURS
Monday, March 16 – Thursday, April 30
Beginning Monday, March 16 and continuing through April 30, The Brooklyn Free Speech Media Center and BRIC House at Large will be closed.
CLASSES
Friday, March 13 through April 30, all of our media education classes are postponed, both at BRIC House and Brooklyn Public Libraries. If you are a registered student you will be contacted with further instructions from our education team. EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT
Beginning Monday, March 16 - Thursday, April 30, all equipment and studio checkouts and reservations at BRIC and New Lots Library are canceled. Reservations for May are subject to change or cancellation, pending the status of this public health crisis. If you had a field equipment pick-up reservation for Sunday, March 15, you are advised to hold the equipment until you are notified with a date for return. Questions? BROOKLYN FREE SPEECH TV UPLOAD
BRIC House will be closed from Monday, March 16 – Thursday, April 30. As a result, program upload is being shifted online. We invite you to send your social distancing themed videos to our programming team for air on Brooklyn Free Speech TV. Please send your content via We Transfer, Dropbox or Google Docs.
