The days getting sunnier, the lawn getting greener, and the weather getting warmer - all signals that summer 2018 is soon going to be here. And what goes hand in hand with summer in NYC? The BRIC Celebrates Brooklyn! Festival at the Prospect Park Bandshell!

In a blink of an eye, we will be spending our summer weekends #AtTheBandshell. Good company, great food, and amazing music. Do we need anything else? Because we can't wait any longer, we are looking back to last year's On The Lawn #AtTheBandshell video series, which features artists who performed at the BRIC Celebrates Brooklyn! Festival.

In the first episodo, host Aaron Waltkins talks with the musicians of The Soul Rebels, a New Orleans ensemble that has sold out shows all over the world.

Next, host Aaron Watkins meets with singer-songwriter Nellie McKay (who you may have seen in a movie or two), to talk about her dream musical collaborations and Brooklyn.

Ultimately, host Aaron Watkins meets up with Yacouba Sissoko, African musician based in New York, to talk about the kora instrument and how he has become one of the best kora players in the world.
