BRIC Receives 13 New York Emmy Award Nominations

We are pleased to announce that BRIC has received 13 nominations for the 2016 New York Emmy Awards. The nominations include nine for BRIC TV, our Brooklyn-focused nonprofit cable channel and digital network launched just last year, and four for shows produced through BRIC's Brooklyn Free Speech initiative. To put that into perspective, BRIC is the 12th most nominated organization, tied with WCBS and WABC! Leslie Schultz, President of BRIC, said, "BRIC is deeply honored by this recognition of our BRIC TV and Brooklyn Free Speech TV initiatives. New York's media sector produces an abundant volume of extraordinary video work, and we are so pleased that our contribution to this body of work, exclusively focused on all things Brooklyn, is increasingly recognized as being among the best."
