BRIC provides tours and hands-on experiences for school groups at BRIC House. There are three different types of tours:

CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY TOURS (Free for Groups):
These 45 minute tours are led by an arts-educator, and combine an inquiry based approach with a short age appropriate activity related to the artwork on view. School groups up to 30 students are welcome.

  • GUIDED TOURS for GROUPS will be given on Wednesdays at 10:30 am and 11:30am, when exhibitions are on view.To reserve a tour, groups are required to fill out this FORM.
     
  • BRIC is unable to offer guided tours at other times. If you would like to bring a group for a self-guided visit, there are exhibtion materials available at the gallery attendant desk. For self-guided groups larger than 15, please contact BRIC in advance.

MEDIA CENTER TOURS (Free for School Groups):

Wednesdays at 10am – 12pm

School groups up to 30 students are welcome. 30 minute tours of BRIC’s state-of-the-art public access television center.

FEE-BASED BRIC HOUSE TOURS & WORKSHOPS (for School Groups):

BRIC is a NYC Department of  Education Arts Services vendor. Visit our contemporary art gallery, performing art space and community media center and experience green screen broadcasting in our television studios, hands-on art-making in our contemporary art gallery and performances in our black box theater.
