Just as the Academy Awards celebrates excellence in media artistry for those in Hollywood, the B Free Awards celebrates excellence in media artistry for those in “Brooklyn-wood."
Hosted by Angela-Renee Ross Coakley & Charles Hailer, the 6th Annual B Free Awards will celebrate excellence in programming on BRIC's Brooklyn Free Speech TV & Podcast Network. We're rolling out the red carpet, the glamour, the fun, and the glitz for the community celebs who every week air over 650 hours of TV and radio on our Brooklyn Free Speech channels— reaching over 550,000 New Yorkers on local cable channels and countless more worldwide.
Now celebrating its 29th year as Brooklyn's community media network, BRIC's Brooklyn Free Speech TV & Podcast Network provides Brooklyn residents with an opportunity to voice their ideas to their community. Every week, hundreds of hours of television programming are submitted by Brooklyn-based producers, whose shows and topics match the broad diversity of Brooklyn.
