JP Reynolds with The Peace and Power Band

From Mt. Vernon, NY and currently based in Harlem, JP Reynolds is an incredibly unique hip-hop artist on another level speaking life with music. With a message of Peace and Power, his innovative sound blends jazz, gospel, funk and soul into an eclectic rap gumbo.

After JP started performing with a live band he established The Peace and Power Band with the help of his music director and bassist, Criston Oates. They added Jayare McKenzie on drums, Sidney Antoine on guitar, Duvane "Phats" Whilby on keys, and Mike Rodriguez on guitar - all New York City area musicians.

B-Side is BRIC TV's live in-studio music series and screening, featuring performances from emerging and established musicians -- free of charge. The in-studio seating is very limited and is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. RSVPs do not guarantee entry and are used solely for measuring attendance. These performances are open to the public, however our studio space is limited. For this reason, the performance will be broadcasted on the Stoop simultaneously.

B-Side is BRIC TV's live in-studio music series and screening, featuring performances from emerging and established musicians on Thursday evenings – free of charge. The in-studio seating is very limited and FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. RSVPs do not guarantee entry and are used solely for measuring attendance.   • Seating  for Studio session with JP Reynolds with The Peace and Power Band begins at 7:30PM
  • Doors close at 7:45PM
  • Performance begins at 8PM sharp

Venue Information:

The BRIC TV Studio is a state-of-the-art, glass-walled TV studio located inside BRIC House.

Beginning Nov. 1, 2022, attendees of any BRIC House programming will no longer have to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter the building. Masks are encouraged but not required in all BRIC operated spaces. If you have questions regarding this protocol, please email Safety@bricartsmedia.org.
