OJ in The Yams

OJ in The Yams formed together in the winter of 2016. Based out of Brooklyn NY, their compositions reflect an ode to hip hop, jazz, and classical music. Influences range from Ahmad Jamal, to Little Dragon, to Sergei Rachmonioff.

Composed of 5 magical beings, Eldad Arad on bass, Will Hotaling on woodwinds, Colin “Snaxx” Mitchell on drums, Simone Acosta on keys, and Alia Pierre on vocals, they create an unexampled vibe and forceful presence on the stage. The group is currently focusing on creating their first studio album, building one of a kind arrangements and original tunes. Marinated and filled with relatable experiences, served with head nodding grooves and sweet vibes, this project has been long anticipated by the masses and will be ready to be served on a set table soon!

Hosted by Mikeflo.

B-Side is BRIC TV's live in-studio music series and screening, featuring performances from emerging and established musicians -- free of charge. The in-studio seating is very limited and is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. RSVPs do not guarantee entry and are used solely for measuring attendance. These performances are open to the public, however our studio space is limited. For this reason, the performance will be broadcasted on the Stoop simultaneously.

IMPORTANT NOTE

  • Seating for the studio session begins at 7:30PM
  • Doors close at 7:45PM
  • Performance begins at 8PM sharp

Can't make it to the show? B-Side airs live Thursdays at 8:00pm on BRIC TV. STREAM LIVE!
