In 2004, folk musician Ray LaMontagne released his first album, Trouble. This album was a gold-certified start to a fiercely ambitious, Grammy Award-winning, critically praised career that's encompassed four more albums, several EPs, a slew of soundtrack compilations and arresting live performances fronting a variety of ensembles.
For his latest album Ourobos, which comes out March 2016, he teamed up with My Morning Jacket's Jim James to create a space-rocky sonic masterpiece that already has critics raving. And to make his appearance at the Bandshell even sweeter, Tommy Blankenship, Carl Broemel, Bo Koster, and Patrick Hallahan—all of My Morning Jacket Fame—will be there to back him up.
We are thrilled to hear the old and the new at the Bandshell and we hope you can join us for this long overdue evening.
