Just past her 35th birthday, GRAMMY-nominated alt-country singer BRANDI CARLILE is already carving a legacy as one of the great songwriters of our time. The success of her T Bone Burnett-produced 2007 record, The Story—and its title track, which charted nearly everywhere in the world—introduced her brand of heart-on-sleeve, western-infused balladeering. The four records since have seen continued evolution and maturity, and 2018's By the Way, I Forgive You is a career-defining tour de force that "expertly skirts the fine line between rootsiness and pure singer/songwriter finesse." (Variety) With a voice that easily slides from whispered raw emotion to rafter-shaking power, she makes the intimate feel anthemic and the anthemic transcendent.

Off the stage, Brandi is a dedicated activist and humanitarian, supporting a wide range of causes through her 501(c)(3) The Looking Out Foundation. Every $1 of her ticket sales go to the foundation, and she has awarded grants to UNICEF, Honor the Earth, and the American Diabetes Association, among others. Bask in her voice and timeless writing as it floats over Prospect Park. Texan blueswoman RUTHIE FOSTER's trio opens the show with soulful, gospel-infused vocals and luminous guitar that Rolling Stone calls "pure magic to watch and hear."
