With a decades-long career, reggae legend Jimmy Cliff is one of the great shapers of modern music. His catalog continues to influence and reflect global culture, tracing its roots to the Jamaica of his youth. For his socially conscious work, Jimmy is the only living musician to hold Jamaica’s Order of Merit, the country's highest honor granted for achievement in the arts and sciences. Jimmy is touring for his first new album in seven years, and 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of his landmark hits,“You Can Get It If You Really Want” and “The Harder They Come.”
