Join us for closing night of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! 2022 with Nigerian singer/songwriter, composer, actress, and entertainer Yemi Alade with an opening performance by Amindi.

Nigerian superstar Yemi Alade closes our season in high style, taking the Bandshell by storm with her pulsating mix of Afropop, R&B, reggae, and rap. Originally scheduled to perform in 2020, her return to Brooklyn marks a triumphant conclusion to our summer of community, love, and joy. LA-based Amindi effortlessly glides between musical influences of the Black Atlantic, opening the evening with the buoyant sounds of her 2021 debut EP Nice.

*Please Note: Chairs will not be available at this show but you are permitted to bring your own. For our d/Deaf and hard of hearing communities, we will have an ASL interpreter at the left side of the stage during the opening set only.
