We are proud to present SONIC BLACKNUSS: All About Love, A Live Podcast Event as part of our Black History is American History Month programming.

When did you first fall in love? Whether your first memory of love is with your significant other, your child, your pet, music, plants, or your favorite sport—it’s something you remember.

Nia I’man Smith (a.k.a THE BLACK CONNECTION) is the lead voice of SONIC BLACKNUSS, a podcast at the intersection of Black music and memory reliving the past.present.future one song at a time. Ms. Smith hosts this special Pre-Valentine’s Day event to find out when you first fell in ♥ love ♥.

Providing the evening’s musical vibes will be Brooklyn’s own, DJ Jahmedicine.

Joined by fellow Brooklyn Free Speech Radio podcasters, Angela Yvonne (Co-Host/Producer of the B Free Award-winning podcast, Underqualified and Over Opinionated, and PJ Ryan (Host/Producer of the popular and very funny podcast, Highly Melanated, this is a not to be missed event.

Venue Information:

The Stoop at BRIC House is a public cultural gathering space featuring free, drop-in programming, and offering a place to sit, observe, and participate in multi-disciplinary work.
