Welcome to the future! During our 2020 Visions House Party, families come together to explore citizenship and envision the future that we want to see. Join us for futuristic art and media activities and exciting live performances. As always, stick around for our family dance party led by FamAJam!

Create wearable colorful translucent eyewear, medallions or anything else that you can see through to give a new perspective.

What do you imagine can improve your community in 2020?  Contribute to our collaborative Brooklyn mural.

Strings N Skins
Strings N Skins celebrates their Caribbean, Latin American and African heritage through the dynamic and explosive blend of the violin and the djembe. Founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2015 by vocalist and percussionist Okai and Latin Grammy Award Winner violinist Luisa Bastidas, Strings N Skins is not your average band. SnS is a band not just happy, it is also intense, irreverent, and empowered. Their purpose is that by educating our minds and embracing our roots we can take control and live with dignity and love.

Move your family dance party from the living room to the BRIC House Ballroom and dance it out! FamAJam presents an after­noon dance party featuring real music spun and mixed by real DJs blend­ing clas­sic disco tunes from the 70s, & 80s with today’s hottest dance tunes that creates a child-proof dis­co for tod­dlers, pre-schoolers, and par­ents look­ing to let loose!

BRIC House is Brooklyn’s cultural living room: a 40,000 square foot multi-disciplinary arts and media complex in the former Strand Theatre, where emerging and established artists can create work that deepens their practice and engages the diverse communities of the borough.

BRIC is committed to welcoming people of all abilities. BRIC's main entrance, located on Rockwell Street, is fully accessible. In addition the main floor of BRIC House has an accessible, all-gender bathroom. The BRIC Media Center, located on the 2nd floor, is accessible via elevator. The Gallery level is accessible via a wheelchair lift. Portable FM assistive listening devices are available for programs on the Stoop and in the Ballroom upon request.
