BRIC will be offering a free Media Talks at the Brooklyn Public Library's Central Library on Thursday, July 28 from 6:30-8:30pm with award-winning producer and reporter Sally Herships! Sally will be sharing insights and tips regarding interviewing best practices gathered from over a decade of reporting and radio producing.

Sally Herships is an award-winning journalist who's been making radio for over a decade. Currently reporting for American Public Media's Marketplace she's also produced or reported for ABC, the BBC, The New York Times, NPR, WNYC, Studio 360 and has put in many hours at Radiolab. Sally currently teaches writing for radio at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and Sarah Lawrence College, hosts the live storytelling night series Stories You Can't Tell on the Radio, and runs the Radio Boot Camp program at UnionDocs.
