This live podcast recording event kicks off BRIC Radio's new podcast M Train, a six-part audio series that explores different facets of Muslim life, culture, and diversity in New York City. Each episode will feature two short audio documentaries woven into an in-studio panel discussion between members of the Muslim community, co-produced and hosted by journalist and podcaster Ahmed Ali Akbar. This special live episode will feature Shahana Hanif, Sadaf Jaffer, and Charles Fall.
M Train is is co-produced by BRIC TV's Shirin Barghi and is a mini-series of the podcast See Something Say Something.

Ahmed Ali Akbar is a journalist, writer, and host of the podcast See Something Say Something. The show covers everything that American Muslims are talking about and was formerly at BuzzFeed.
Shirin Barghi is a Brooklyn-based multimedia journalist for BRIC TV where she covers issues of social justice, immigration, politics and more. She currently works as a Senior Producer at BRIC TV.
Shahana Hanif is in the running for City Council to represent Brooklyn's 39th district.
Sadaf Jaffer is Montgommery County, NJ's first Muslim woman mayor.
Charles Fall is the first Muslim and African American Assemblymember elected from Staten Island.
