This FREE event will take place at the Downtown Brooklyn Cultural District’s new outdoor public space, The Steps at 300 Ashland.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Pedro Pablo “Pedrito” Martinez founded Pedrito Martinez Group in 2005 and their Grammy-nominated first album was released October 2013. Habana Dreams, PMG’s second album, was released in June 2016, garnering accolades including #1 Latin Jazz Album in NPR’s Jazz Critics Top Jazz Albums for 2016 and being named among the Boston Globe’s World Music Albums for 2016.
