Join us for a performance by the Kid Millions and Jim Sauter Duo!

Percussionist Kid Millions (John Colpitts) founded and plays the drums in the bands Oneida, People of the North, and Man ForeverHe also writes for The Talkhouse. He's played with Yo La Tengo, Boredoms, Spiritualized, Laurie Anderson, Damo Suzuki, So Percussion, Lia Ices, Glenn Kotche, Akron Family and William Basinski (among others).

Saxophonist Jim Sauter founded legendary NY noise band Borbetomagus with Don Dietrich and Donald Miller in 1979. Sauter is a true pioneer of extended technique on the saxophone and plays "with enough energy to flatten buildings" - Byron Coley, Forced Exposure Magazine. 

This public program takes place in conjunction with the exhibition Clifford Ross: Water | Waves | Wood exhibition, which will serve as the stunning backdrop for this performance.

 

Venue Information:

The Stoop at BRIC House is a public cultural gathering space featuring free, drop-in programming, and offering a place to sit, observe, and participate in multi-disciplinary work.
