Natalie Bookchin, Long Story Short (video still), 2016

 

A full screening (45 min) of Public Access artist Natalie Bookchin’s 2016 video, Long Story Short, which is an exploration of poverty comprised of hundreds of interviews with men and women in homeless and job-training centers 
in California. The screening will be followed by a conversation with the artist.

This program is taking place in conjunction with the Public Access/Open Networks exhibition, on view at BRIC House March 22 - May 7, 2017.

Venue Information:

The Stoop at BRIC House is a public cultural gathering space featuring free, drop-in programming, and offering a place to sit, observe, and participate in multi-disciplinary work.
