Over the course of six weeks, GRIOT Circle members with stories to tell worked with BRIC staff to learn the technical and narrative skills necessary to make their own podcasts. Join us as we listen to their finished podcasts, and meet our burgeoning audio storytellers in person.
GRIOT Circle is a community-based organization that addresses the needs of older lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people of color. Since 1996, GRIOT Circle has provided a welcoming space, culturally sensitive services, and member-centered programming that affirm the lives of LGBTQ elders of color.
This podcasting workshop was developed by BRIC's Community Media and Community Engagement programs, in partnership with our partners at GRIOT Circle.
