The Grammy Award-winning Parisian sisters known for their unique fusion neo-soul and African rhythm-infused hip hop return to BRIC House. After selling out a very special Valentine’s Day performance back in 2014, Les Nubians returns to the BRIC House Ballroom to present Up Close & Personal, an intimate performance of classic and new Les Nubians songs with live visuals and storytelling. With sublime vocals and socially conscious messages that have stood the test of time, we are excited to host these truly global citizens and now-Brooklynites for their hometown show.

Brooklyn’s dream-funk quartet IGBO will kick things off on the Stoop, performing songs from their forthcoming full-length release, Live. Featuring a six piece groove-a-thon band, IGBO has sold out shows all around NYC, “with sunny rhythm guitar, sticky brass-and-woodwind arrangements, and flower-child parables.” (The New Yorker) DJ Joe Crispiano, Dap Kings guitarist and rare soul enthusiast, spins in the gallery.

Co-curated with Joan Osborne’s Womanly Hips Presents.

BRIC House Sessions: Les Nubians / IGBO is now sold out!
