Concrete Stories is BRIC's annual youth media festival-- organized for youth, by youth, and celebrating the work of local media makers 21 and younger. At the Youth Media Screening event, come join us as we view and discuss examples of short media pieces from past Concrete Stories festivals. Are you and up-and-coming media maker? Learn about how to submit your work for this year's festival.

The event will be led by high school students who are currently participating in BRIC's Youth Media Fellowship.

ABOUT TEEN ARTS WEEK

NYC's annual citywide celebration of the arts―for teens, by teens. Leading cultural organizations in all five boroughs will present free classes, workshops and performances for teens from March 2-8, 2020. Events enable teens to gain hands-on experience in different areas of the arts, engage with professionals in the creative industries, and explore pathways to future leadership within the context of the arts. Open to all NYC teens 14+ with a valid school ID. Educators are encouraged to bring student groups, both during and after regular school hours.

Venue Information:

The Stoop at BRIC House is a public cultural gathering space featuring free, drop-in programming, and offering a place to sit, observe, and participate in multi-disciplinary work.

Beginning Nov. 1, 2022, attendees of any BRIC House programming will no longer have to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter the building. Masks are encouraged but not required in all BRIC operated spaces. If you have questions regarding this protocol, please email Safety@bricartsmedia.org. For our full BRIC House COVID-19 policy, visit: https://www.bricartsmedia.org/safety.
