Recent data released by the NYC Health Department confirms NYC neighborhoods with greater concentrations of black and Latino populations, and low-income residents, suffered the highest death rates from Covid-19. Not surprisingly, wealthier and predominantly white areas in Manhattan experienced the lowest death rates.
