Brooklyn's Creative Future Needs You!

For over forty years, BRIC has been giving Brooklyn a platform and a gathering place. BRIC’s creative workforce is the lifeblood of our organization and represents a significant segment of Brooklyn’s creative economy.

Help support our mission to Build Brooklyn’s Creative Future, by donating to the BRIC CREATIVE FUTURE RELIEF FUND.

  • Summer (June - August)

The residency at 33 Clinton Street in Brooklyn Heights is aimed at artists who are able to work independently and can responsibly take care of an approximately 400-square-feet space that is used as a classroom during the school year. Please consider steps you can take to care for the space, when applying for studio space in this location.

  • Approximately 400-square-feet of space; ample storage space.
  • Carpeted floor, fluorescent lighting, air conditioning, a private bathroom, and sink.
  • Doorperson present during office hours, otherwise artists are responsible for opening up and locking up the space, as they come and go. Artists will have access to their studio space 24-hours a day. Work hours can be flexible.
  • Located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, close by to numerous Subway lines including the R, 4, 5, 2, 3, and A, C trains.
  • Priority will be given to artists with proposals that will have a low impact on the space.

* Special thanks to Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn Heights for partnering with us to provide the residency space at 33 Clinton Street.
