86 SUPREME heavily integrates sample triggering and live beat production, and the colors that result are entirely new. With explosive live performances to turn out any party, they draw on influences from jazz to electronic, grime to sound clash.
86 Supreme began with frontman Sean Play, as an expression of an original sound and technique. Linking his bass to a sampler to trigger sounds he produced, he developed a unique method fusing the two instruments. The band took its full form with samplist/synthesist Tenzin Hunter and drummer Yahoteh Kokayi, creating their own signature style.

B-Side is BRIC TV's live in-studio music series and screening, featuring performances from emerging and established musicians -- free of charge. The in-studio seating is very limited and is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. RSVPs do not guarantee entry and are used solely for measuring attendance. These performances are open to the public, however our studio space is limited. For this reason, the performance will be broadcast on the Stoop simultaneously.
