Join us for a conversation between visual artist Cecile Chong, whose exhibition Time Collision is presented in BRIC's Project Room from May 21-June 21, 2015, and Bill Carroll, Director of the Studio Program of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts and a fixture in the New York art world for more than 25 years. Carroll has been a professor and a mentor to Chong.
Born in Ecuador to Chinese parents, Chong's work addresses the process of cultural encounter and entanglement that her background and exposure to different cultural objects and ideas has influenced.
