Meet the graduates of the 2015 Documentary Intensive.

Join us at BRIC Arts | Media House on Monday, August 8 from 7-10PM for a documentary film watch party celebrating the graduates of the 2015 Documentary Intensive program.

Eight months ago, we screened the documentaries of the 13 filmmakers who were selected to participate in the first-ever Documentary Intensive film program with the Brooklyn Free Speech media education program. The documentaries ranged from police brutality, horses, a Brooklyn motorcycle club, the murder of a 13 year old boy by the NYPD, and more.

And now eight months later, we're revisiting these 13 documentarians to see where their films are today.

These filmmakers have gone on a journey like no other and learned the ins and outs of making a short, compelling film— from choosing a documentary subject and style, crafting interview questions, using our Canon C100 and 70D cameras, and editing their piece in Premiere Pro.

Each filmmaker will screen their documentary with a special Q & A session with the audience at the end.

Venue Information:
