The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) returns with a high-energy mashup of traditional and modern sounds out of Mexico led by Tijuana’s NORTEC COLLECTIVE, whose founders Bostich and Fussible preside over live musicians and laptops to create an “amazing deconstruction of norteño DNA…that can propel a dance floor to delirium.” (NPR) MEXICAN INSTITUTE OF SOUND brings its own fusion of folk and electronica to the mix, and MARIACHI FLOR DE TOLOACHE, NYC’s only all-female mariachi band, holds down the traditional angle.

The BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival is one of New York City's longest running, free, outdoor performing arts festivals and is held every summer at the Prospect Park Bandshell. View seating arrangements here.
